Adobe Photoshop is one of the top image manipulating software programs in the world, used by amateurs and professionals alike. There is a fix for this problem, and pretty simple. Just left click on Photoshop 6.exe, then click Properties, go to the Compatibility tab and change the compatibility to Windows 98. I did that and now my Photoshop 6 is up and running again. After installing a Photoshop Update your plug-ins are no longer available in the Filters menu. This happens because plug-ins do not automatically transfer when you install a new version of Photoshop. Download and run the installer for your plug-in version to add it to your new Photoshop application.
